
Building a DIY Homemade debarker for my Woodmizer LT35HD
Feb 23, 2019 · It holds in place by a simple locking lever. To release it back to open, you just squeeze a handle and move lever out. Spring tension returns the debarker back out to the farthest away from log position. The LT35 manual, on the other hand, has a 1/30HP geared motor that turns a small pulley that is connected via a belt to a larger 7" pulley.

May 4, 2003 · My gas weedwacker can cut down small saplings ;D, rhubarb, willows yaddayadda. Its gotta be atleast double the hp of my debarker. WM's debarker blade would work great. Mine can cut a waaay nasty hole in the log if the head hangs up for some reason. Great idea regardless Dan. Good luck.

Sep 24, 2024 · Gday Ive done it both ways Mate and ill tell you on any stringy barked species the presure washer is the way to go even if your just knocking the mud and alittle bark off em to get them clean enough to saw Mate I use to use the log wizard somtimes if i only had a couple of logs in a runn that needed cleaned up when i was running my bandmill ;)
