Oct 9, 2020 · The L7 is the Les Paul type model, GT denotes the gold top finish. Given the reputation of Sire bases I was expecting high quality construction and sound. First impressions: the gold top is gorgeous - it's difficult to capture metallic finishes in photographs, but in person the gold colour is on the sparkly side of the gold used on Gibsons.

Jan 15, 2022 · Sire S7, a HSS Superstrat (also have a vintage-voiced SSS S7 model) Sire L7, a Goldtop Les Paul Sire H7, a 335-style Hollowbody Sire T7, a Tele-style (They also have a T7 FM, which is a HH singlecut with a Vibrato) I have tried the HSS S7, and the L7, and both were great.
Hows fret work on Sire guitars? - The Gear Page
Feb 4, 2023 · Hello everyone, considering buying a Sire Larry Carlton L7. But since living far away from anything I have to buy it online. Last two 500€ guitars I bought had beyond awful fret work. And I'm not talking just some sharp ends, they were not leveled at all. Any experience with Sire?

Aug 28, 2022 · Long story short. This was a "NGD" a few months in the making. I walked in on one of these one night in late Winter on a last minute trip to buy a tuner. So I joke that this is the most expensive tuner I will ever buy! I had the chance at one 6 …

Jan 15, 2022 · I’m in the market for a cost effective Les Paul alternative and spent a lot of time researching videos, reviews and forums. I’ve concluded either a Sire L7 or L7V will work best for me, but am hung up on which one! I thirst for that Les Paul thick classic rock tone that I can’t achieve with my other electric - a versatile HSS super strat.

Jul 28, 2022 · The other option is the more expensive Sire L7. The Sire is more expensive and I would change the bridge pickup to a 498T that I have lying around. Reviews are very positive and the 498T would help to give me that 'Gibson' tone but is the Sire really worth the extra?
New to strats - PRS SE NF3? - The Gear Page
Oct 5, 2024 · I'm still early on in my electric guitar journey (MANY years with acoustic). I have Sire L7 (humbuckers) and L7V (P90s) Les-Paul style guitars, and have been considering trying a strat. I *love* the Sire line, so was targeting the S7 FM... but when the PRS SE NF3 popped up, I was entranced, and am leaning towards that.

Jan 15, 2022 · I've had a Sire H7 for several months, and love it. I was torn between that and the H7V, and for a variety of reasons went with the H7. I've become interested in obsessed with getting a Les Paul style guitar, and gravitate towards a Sire based on my experience with the H7. I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on the L7V, but I was hoping to ...

Aug 9, 2023 · Pickups wise: Fender > Sire > HB The Sire don't have the same attack as the Fender pickups. They're pretty close but on the upper mids they're not quite as strong. Probably due to the Vintage nature of the model. The tuning stability on the Sire is good. It's a factory guitar. It's better than the Fender due to having a bone nut and not a ...
