Single and Coax copters have one or two propellers to provide thrust and 2 to 4 individual flaps to provide roll, pitch and yaw control. The difference between a SingleCopter and a CoaxCopter is: SingleCopter. has a single motor and 4 independent flaps.

Mar 13, 2017 · Copter-3.5 (in beta testing at the time of this post) includes the Single Copter and Coax Copters in the main multicopter firmware. This means if you load up the AC3.5-rc1 (or later) quad copter, you can actually fly a single-copter or coax-copter.

May 31, 2021 · The height of the CoM does not impact stability much, and higher (further from the flaps) is better for the single copter frame (creates higher torque). If you had something else in mind, I’d be interested to here what causes the higher instability.

Nov 1, 2023 · could it be the hardware of the FC (CC3D series Revolution) ? But when I flash the same FC with the same quadcopter FW, with frame class set to quadcopter, the yaw channel works. I just have no clue.
