I had to do so for my copy of SimCity Societies Deluxe that I got as part of the SimCity Box. but that was years ago when Origin was still going strong. they ended up giving me the standard version plus the expansion, which i guess equals the deluxe version?

Hi Nils, I successfully installed simcity socities and ran in my pc for sometime. However, when i installed the expansion pack - Destinations, it's no longer launching. It's says that that some drivers are missing like mss32.

So, recently I have decided to register SimCity Societies and Destinations expansion, and I contacted EA Help to have them register my codes. But, when they registered it, I got SIMCITY SOCIETIES Origin Retrofit and SIMCITY SOCIETIES DESTINATIONS Origin Retrofit. Both of those cannot be downloaded, as apparently, they aren't yet released.

THE SOLUTION: What I did was extract the Destinations folder. To play it safe, I cut and pasted the SimCity Societies folder to desktop, and pasted Destinations as its own folder within EA Games.
