Silco finds Powder and before Vi can save her she's taken away by Marcus and sent to Stillwater hold, When Vi is released and reunited with her sister in the sixth episode of season one. Vi tries to get through to Powder but Jinx says "I'm Jinx now! Powder, fell down a well."

Vi took a rest at a far wall, but later saw Powder approached by Silco. Before she could return to Powder, Vi was suddenly drugged unconscious and arrested by soon-to-be Sheriff Marcus. For years, Vi was imprisoned in Stillwater Hold Prison without a trial or details of her crimes.

Following the celebration of Piltover's bicentennial Progress Day, Vi encountered one of Silco's henchmen and assaulted him in the cafeteria. As a result of the fight, Vi was visited by Caitlyn Kiramman, who was investigating Silco and showed Vi photographs of a crime scene.

Silco was the main antagonist in Season 1 and a posthumous character in Season 2 of Arcane, and he was the second adopted father of Jinx. He was also the powerful, ambitious Zaunite leader of the chem-barons, silently controlling Zaun from under the noses of Piltover's authority.

Vander might try to warn Vi, pointing out how far Silco would go. Then again, Silco might not have gone full shimmer route if Vander was on his side again, as he would have and his allies supporting him. Silco might have used his kids to meet Vander in the middle.
