Silbury Hill is a prehistoric artificial chalk mound near Avebury in the English county of Wiltshire. It is part of the Stonehenge, Avebury and Associated Sites UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In their view, this Goddess would have been seen to walk over Waden Hill at midwinter representing "a magnificent, night long, ceremonial spectacle for people in the south circle at Avebury". There are strong similarities and disimilarites between their ideas and mine.

Jan 7, 2020 · Silbury Hill is 40 meters (131.2 feet) high with a diameter of 160 meters (524.9 feet). The construction took about 10 years and it is regarded as the largest prehistoric monument in England. Some miners gathered near the mound in 1776.

In July 1994 three people climbed England’s Silbury Hill and planned to spend the night atop the 131-foot high mound to watch for possible crop circle activity. The three people (two men and a woman) were soon met by two other friends, but the two friends left shortly before dark.

May 15, 2002 · He dropped the spadeful of earth by the side of the road in disgust, and it became Silbury Hill. On a moonlit night you might see King Sil in golden armour ride by the hill. Perhaps that’s because he’s buried on horseback – or maybe in a golden coffin.
