May 2, 2016 · I have a dedicated Windows 10 system running the Pro version of Sighthound. All was configured and running well with Remote Access until I needed to do a fresh install of Windows 10 on the system. After the OS install I Installed Sighthound, updated all softwares, and activated Sighthound.

Oct 30, 2015 · Sighthound, however, appears to operate on the assumption that all data cut-outs or slow-downs, no matter how brief, are camera or network disconnects, and immediately moves to reset mode. Sighthound should come up with some sort of firmware or software update to address this problem. However, I won't hold my breath.

Dec 31, 2017 · I also have this camera setup, Reolink RLN8-410 and am unable to get all the cameras working with Sighthound. I was able to get one camera working using the IP Address of the NVR but do not know how to get the other 3 cameras connected. So far I've contacted support from Sighthound, Reolink and my internet provider.

Dec 31, 2015 · Sighthound 3.0 installed on a 64-bit Windows system in the default location. A trusted Certificate Authority to generate a signed certificate from a certificate signing request. I used a free cert from StartSSL , but it does have validation problems with Chrome on mobile due to cert chaining issues.

Aug 12, 2014 · I have a question about the amount of the Sighthound Agent.exe*32 instances. I'm using seven cameras while there are twelve Sighthound Agent.exe*32 instances running and one Sighthound Video.exe*32 which is explainable. I would understand that there would run one Sighthound Agent.exe for each camera but I do not understand why there are more.

Aug 4, 2020 · The changes to the image pre-processing stage of Sighthound Video are extensive and go way beyond DXVA and CUDA (and Video ToolBox) support. On my system, for example, total CPU usage with Sighthound Video 7 is less than half of what it was on version 6. H.265 goes the other direction - significantly higher CPU use for, to be honest, little value.

Sep 26, 2019 · Sighthound Video is accessing the video stream different than the browser and phone since those two are most likely using proprietary methods. Sighthound Video is accessing the video stream directly via an RTSP stream. However, we should be able to get the camera back setup once we have your logs and the make and model.

Jan 2, 2020 · I am running Sighthound v6.0.8 build 17542. The camera is a Logitech C920 connected through USB. The camera is connected, and Sighthound is recording video correctly. I am trying to change a few settings. When I go to Cameras tab, right click in video, click Edit Camera. The Camera Setup window pops up.
