Oct 10, 2024 · The P938 and its 380 caliber version P238 is primary a concealed carry pistol and or as a back-up piece. The red dot in this confirguration can get snagged and adds more noticeble printing.

Mar 17, 2013 · sig p938 safe carry Have spoken to customer service at Sig Sauer and they say that the firing pin is "locked" until the hammer is cocked so it would be safe to carry with the hammer down with a chambered round, especially with the safety engaged. It cannot fire until the trigger is pulled and the P938 has a long trigger pull!

Aug 12, 2016 · Correct, P938's come ambi, but they are simple to convert to single sided if one wishes. The two parts needed are sold by SIG, a safety lever and hammer pivot pin for a P238 are used and are suprisingly inexpensive. The only vestige left is the upper rear corner safety cut out on the right grip.
