Apr 6, 2019 · IF you run into a .357 Sig P239, be careful to check out the magazines. Some of the 239's would ONLY take the .357 Sig mags, so you can't interchange mags nor put a .40 barrel in it. I had one like that for a bit and sent it back to the guy I bought it from in exchange for a .40, then got a BarSto .357 Sig barrel for it.

Oct 19, 2020 · I've had a P239 DA/SA in .40 S&W for a couple of years, and is my "primary" EDC. I have just recently picked up a DAO, in .40 S&W, and have set it up to function in the same role as an old snub nosed revolver, for close range, fast action shooting.

Mar 22, 2024 · My 9mm P239 is my only SIG that rattles. The slide to frame fit is extremely loose. BUT it shoots great. My P239 in .40 & .357 is much tighter, just like the rest of my SIGs. Those too are very accurate. No idea why my 9mm has such a loose slide but it’s never given me any reason to worry about it.

My P225 is a great pistol, I loved it the first time I shot it, and I shot it better than other pistols I'd been using for years.
