Dec 22, 2020 · There is a certain amount of liability relating to gun parts and specifically trigger parts. Sig identified that there is a certain amount of pre-travel required on the trigger so that if the P320 is dropped and it lands on the heel of the weapon (which is the famous "drop test") it will not activate the firing mechanism.

Sep 11, 2019 · I have the GG competition trigger in my standard X5 and had Robert Burke (The Sig Armorer) work on the trigger in my Legion. They are different for sure, but I gotta say that the Burke trigger feels better to me. I did not even bother to measure the pull when I got it back it was so nice! I will do that with both guns and report back.

Jul 29, 2023 · I believe there is a report in the Sig 320 class action lawsuit of a 320 going off while in a locker. The video above is the first footage of a 320 going off without the trigger being pulled. There's footage of someone at a range that starts after the discharge in the presence of an RO but no footage of the discharge itself.

Jan 7, 2015 · Picked up one a Sig 320 few weeks ago. Before I can evaluate it for Production (and spend $ on new holster mags and mag holders)… I really need more competitive sights. The gun comes with blocky night sights. Any suggestions? I am mostly running 115 fronts with 140 or 15x rears which work well for my 1911s and Glock 19s. TIA. jon

Jun 20, 2017 · Ive put about 2000 rounds through it no issue, but the other day I was at the range and had a case separation. It was not a double charge, but it did blow out the extractor. I called Sig and the rep said the X5 is designed to do exactly that, blow out the extractor to save other vital parts, whenever there is an over pressure situation.

Nov 24, 2023 · The Brand-X barrel I bought expanded that to 6" groups at 7 yards. I ordered a KKM barrel that may require a little fitting and will see what it likes; I can fit the barrel hood anyway if needed. The standard twist rate for Sig barrels in the P320 is 1:10; for the Brand-X barrel, also 1:10; for KKM, the standard twist rate is 1:16.
