Nov 23, 2015 · Old thread, but still many 290rs out there. The high G force of the short slide cycle was destroying the SigLite front sights (like the first P365's with SigLites) so after 3 replacements by SIG they sent me a new set of X-Ray-3's (same size as P365)under warranty and they worked great. Finally traded 290rs toward a P365 and never looked back.

Jan 19, 2020 · I purchased the Galloway turn key parts kit for my 290RS. Springs, stainless guide rod, curved trigger and a textured grip wrap. Didn't care for the feel of the trigger shape so I ordered one from RTK triggers. Perfect combination! Now a joy to shoot.

Mar 19, 2015 · I have both the 380 and 9mm 290RS My 9mm is my everyday carry, till I get better with my 250 9mm "sc". I like the DAO, as I shot many DAO Rev's, LDA, DAK's. Good luck Galloway has updated items for them.

Nov 6, 2017 · Some of my information was from Sig’s older version of their website on which was easier to find information about weights, etc. Some is from owning a P290RS in 9mm. Some is from considering picking up a Sig P290 in .380 and comparing the .380 and the 9mm versions side by side at a couple of gun shows. The 9mm version has a squared off slide.
