Apr 12, 2021 · The biggest flaw of Sieg is that the story beats weren't good enough to support Apocrypha. You can see the idea, Sieg being just born, he slowly learns about the world around him, tries to live his life in a way to honour Siegfried, learns about the darker side of humanity from Jack and in the end, learns about anger and selfishness from the death of Jeanne.

People keep bringing up FGO sieg is better than apoc sieg even tho the apoc event is built upon the premise that it happens after apoc and before the apoc epilogue. The development from apoc carries over to event sieg yet people treats them like 2 entirely different characters.

As a homunculus that was only a few days old. Sieg has no life experience, no personal beliefs and even though its supposed to be part of the plot, Sieg has no personality beyond the basic sense of self preservation at the beginning. In short, Sieg is a boring individual, that's okay plot wise because this is the point of his character.
