All current New York City residents in 8 grade or in 9 grade for the first time who plan to apply to one of these Specialized High Schools (SHS) must take the SHSAT, whether they are public, private, or parochial school students.

Families can now view their Specialized High School Admissions Test (SHSAT) results, and learn if they received any offers to the testing specialized high schools and / or LaGuardia! Admissions results and offer letters can be found in MySchools or through your current school. (SHSAT scores are listed in each student’s offer letter.)
