Please clarify when you are talking about charger's primary ability of shoving as a bonus action, and the modified shove granted when moving 10 feet in a line before shoving. Are you saying the more powerful straight line shove, RAW, loses the ability to knock a creature down? Or are you saying even the basic bonus action shove granted by the charger feat is incapable of knocking a creature prone?
