Apr 27, 2013 · Long bows and short bows not only can be recurves, but also reflex bows, which the center is like point inward toward the archer? (Kinda hard to say) and I THINK provide good grip. Lastly, any bow that is a recurve and/or a reflex is usually a compound bow which is a bow made of multiple materials to strengthen the bow.

Is A Short Riser (17" or Less) Actually A Disadvantage?

Aug 15, 2018 · The bow in your picture is a hybrid or reflex/deflex longbow. Most will call it a longbow, but the specific rules in competition organizations may not agree. As long as the string only touches the limbs at the tips, it is a longbow.
