Dec 20, 2021 · I recently discovered (in the Remastered version) that sometimes if you leave the Forest Hunter covenant, without getting kicked out, and then return to Blighttown to visit Shiva, he still won't appear near the elevator even after joining the covenant in the swamp bonfire.

When killing Shiva and his ninja bodyguard, make sure you've bought all the exclusive weapons you can from him and, if you want to be safe, get your 3 kills in the forest for the Ring of Fog. That way, you're in no danger if things mess up.

Oct 31, 2017 · This is my first gameplay at NG++, and yet I don't how to make Shiva travel to Blight town. I join the Forest Hunter covenant and exhaust all of his dialogue, to the point where he says "Don't worry, now. You'll be called in soon enough. Hunters with patience score the best kills." The only achievement I'm missing the Knight's Honor.

It Costs a lot of souls depending on your level, but it undos your mistakes and resolves your sin which means if you've broken a covenant it reverts things back to normal He'll also be back beside where you first entered the covenant

Shiva uses the Murakumo(giant Scimitar, basically), so it's not likely him. The only other NPC I can think of would be his bodyguard, who is dressed in the Shadow Armor and is semi-transparent, but I don't think he uses an axe, and I'd imagine you already killed him during the shuffle in the forest.
