After Magus Sister have die, Dark Shiva should have less than 900,000 HP left. Just simply use quick attack on her. You must cast Hastega first if you do not have Auto-Haste on your armor.

Then again, you're talking to a guy who spent over 192 hours completing FFX, which included farming three BHPL + Ribbon + Auto-Haste armors zanmato'ing Dark Yojimbo before even stepping foot in Mt. Gagazet and maxing out effective stats for all seven characters despite not even using three of them.

Dec 17, 2023 · If Valefor represented evasion (sort of), Ifrit represented brute strength, and Ixion represented status, Dark Shiva represents pure speed. All of her attacks except Diamond Dust are low Ranks, meaning they have quicker recoveries than normal, and her Agility is 255.

You can actually quite easily hit 9999 a bit before that, if you use the opposing element Aeon overdrive on the Spherimorph boss in Macalania, for example when it elemental shifts to Ice use Ifrit's Hellfire also using Ixion's Thor's Hammer on the Crawler boss on Lake Macalania will more than likely 9999 as well.

Dec 17, 2001 · When Shiva has a full overdrive, use Diamond Dust while Anima is in boost. It will deal 1.5x the normal damage, and it should deal 9999 damage. You should have enough MP to stay healed the whole time. Dismiss Shiva once Anima is defeated, or she'll probably be killed by level 3 elemental spells.

The best way I found to earn AP is by killing Shiva in the battle simulator. She gives 15 AP from the get to. Combine that with the Key to Success-accessory and the triple AP-accessory (can't remember whats called) and you get 90 AP for a 10 Seconds fight. The accessories can be farmed in the youth league tournament if I remember correctly.

It is awarded both for using Abilities and for killing enemies. The reward is usually only 1 AP per enemy, but some boss battles award more than that. That said, I've heard that Shiva from the Aeon Cup is a better choice, as she gives 15 AP per battle and is unquestionably less dangerous.
