Oct 1, 2016 · Studies have shown that what actually happened was that the movie was so bad, that our brains literally rejected it and replaced it with a cheesey yet endearing Sinbad version called Shazam. In this way, our world may have become a little less real, but no longer were we in danger of wanting to kill ourselves due to the acting of one Shaq.

I always thought Sinbad played in Shazam and remembered guys in black suits like secret service looking for him and the kid. looked Sinbad up on IMDB and turns out I was thinking of a movie called First Kid. I was 5. I though for years it was an experiment to try and convince people that something didn’t happen when they know it did.

Sep 7, 2018 · Sinbad himself has addressed this publicly and offered a plausible explanation for some of the confusion. In 1994 he did a special where he was dressed up as “Sinbad the Sailor”. But the “sailor” outfit was in fact himself in a turban that made him look more genie than anything.

Oct 8, 2002 · I absolutely saw Shazam, starring Sinbad, in the theater. It is not being conflated with any other memory. It was a movie that came out, was fairly popular, showed on TV a lot, and it existed. Now it doesn't. Not a misremembering thing at all. Not a getting it confused with something else. It was absolutely a thing that existed.

Shazam was also, as noted, an existing thing. There was a 70’s tv series that would have still been in rerun rotation called Shazam even! Super easy to mix that word up with Kazam. Sinbad also dressed like a genie all the time and the Kazam trailer was on the VHS for a Sinbad movie.

Mar 2, 2023 · This makes Sinbad become arrogant about granting a third wish. -The teen boy and the genie have some sort of fight and the boy leaves, making Sinbad go after him feeling sorry/afraid he'll get lost. -Apparently there's a scene where Sinbad needs to cross a rope bridge between a hole in a dark area, making the "cave lamp plot" more plausible.

Hi enjoyed the Sinbad Shazam movie when I was a kid and I recorded it off of the Disney Channel onto a VHS which is actually still in storage. I just have to go through over 1000 VHS to find it. Reply reply

"Shazam" was shaped like typical 90's graffiti art) I remember when Kazaam came out and thinking, "this is stupid, why would they make another genie movie, didn't they just make Shazam?". I remember making references to Shazam throughout my life, just like Three Ninjas or Home Alone.
