Sharon Steel Corporation was an American steel company. Chairmen included Henry A. Roemer and later, Victor Posner. After it went bankrupt in the late 1980s, in late 1992, Sharon Steel Corp. was purchased by Caparo Steel.

This mill, the Niles Rolling Mill Company, was made a subsidiary to the Sharon Steel Company, to produce sheet steel in various forms and finishes. It has provided an outlet for approximately 200,000 tons of semi-finished steel annually.

Throughout its history, Sharon Steel Corporation ran blast furnaces, basic oxygen and electric furnace melt shops, a blooming mill, hot rolling and pickling, cold rolling and annealing as well as galvanizing operations, making a wide variety of products in sheet and strip form.
