Dec 1, 2015 · What are the really good shaft options for the 714 AP2? I hit my 9 iron about 145, my driver ss is about 105, I want something a little lighter, say around the 100-105 gram mark, I want great feel, and accuracy (don't we all).

Dec 11, 2011 · KBS shafts are the best freq matched shafts I have ever seen. PX were great before TT took over the production. I would say that from purely a shaft flex perspective that the Project X 5.0 will flex like KBS R+ or about a 5.5 rifle flex.

Nov 5, 2013 · I hit the AP2 714's at Golfsmith with the stock DG S300 shaft and fell in love. I should be receiving mine by the end of the week. I will post a review once I am able to get out on the range next week.

Mar 27, 2012 · Now, I'm starting over and looking at a variety of shafts for my AP2s. - PX 6.0. - PXi 6.0. - DG 300/400. Any thoughts for this 10 handicapper? I should see a fitter but can't find one in the near term and I want to order these puppies soon.

Mar 24, 2009 · I recently picked up a set of Titleist AP2 irons, 1/2" longer, 2* upright, and while I like the look of the club at address, as well as the soft, forged clubface, I'm not particularly a fan of the stock Project X 5.5 shafts.

Jun 4, 2009 · See if their is one in your area and you should be able to try out 5-6 different shafts and flexes. I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.
