Mar 1, 2017 · Seroquel or by its generic name Quetiapine is a wierd drug, I believe its given in high doses for bi polar I believe but the side effect is drowsiness. Here in Canada its often prescribed in low doses as a non addictive sleep aid.

Sep 7, 2023 · Seroquel is sometimes prescribed off label as a sleep aid but it's actually an antipsychotic. However at low doses (not sure of the exact range off the top of my head, I can try to check and edit a more specific answer in when I get home from work tonight) it primarily acts as an antihistamine, it's also still very sedating at even 25mg for most people.

Apr 7, 2013 · Seroquel only seems to be a nasty drug in doses of 500mg and above. Some people with severe enough Schizophrenia take up to 900mg. It can be quite numbing and overly-sedative. None the less, it does work better than other antispychotics for some of these people. For those with constant fatigue from Seroquel, get the hell off of the XR version.
