Dec 1, 2020 · The Gauntlet update is a free update to anyone who owns Sekiro and at the same time it made Sekiro owners turn their game automatically to goty edition. Running 60 fps on PS5 is just automatically done via a patch already done by FromSoftware since there’s no PS5 edition of Sekiro and you are running Sekiro via backwards compatibility.

In Sekiro you have only your blade plus button is same as for blocking, so it works that way: enemy attacks you - you hit button. If you hit to early you will not get damage, but your posture will be affected If you hit on time - perfect deflect - no damage - enemies posture affected. If you hit to slow - receive damage and posture penalty.

The recovery rate of an enemy's Posture bar is tied to their HP (this applies to Sekiro as well). Low HP = low Posture recovery and vice-versa, so in some of the boss fights you should focus on damaging their HP at first (until they're at 50-75% HP) and then worry about filling their Posture. ← Source /u/Knightmare
