For the first time, the Seiko 5 Sports Field series introduces a new watch with a GMT function. The prominent, five-sided GMT hand in red enhances legibility against the black dial. The thick, curved glass lends the watch an air of sophistication ideally suited for travelers.

The first ever Seiko 5 watch, Seiko Sportmatic 5, was born in 1963. It was Seiko’s and Japan’s first ever automatic day-date watch. ‘’5’’ represented the promise that every Seiko 5 watch would have five key attributes.

Inspired by a heritage design from Seiko 5 Sports that gained popularity in the late 1960s, the watch comes with a color scheme provided by HUF. The crown is decorated with a special “HUF” logo.

The bezel’s ring indicator is made of Seiko’s Hardlex glass to deliver the high level of durability for which the Seiko 5 Sports collection is renowned. The design of the case and dial draws inspiration from one of Seiko’s best-loved sports watches, known to enthusiasts as the Seiko SKX series.
