On October 11, 1975, Sega adopted their current logo: a blue wordmark, sometimes sporting a white border. The font is set in dry-transfer typeface Yagi Double, which was a common display face for the era.

The Sega logo splits into two: the light blue one representing Sega Corporation (including Sega Publishing Korea, Sega Singapore and Sega Taiwan) and the dark blue one representing Sega West (Sega of America and Sega Europe).

In 2006, the famous FMV intro was introduced which featured several swirls that form the Sega logo. This was first seen in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). Sega ditched out the FMV in 2017 alongside its chant.
