There is no real "criteria" here. I didn't go with X roms per system, or the top 100 according to some list. I just tried to get a nice mix of classics and hidden gems based on years of playing retro games, critical scores, and reviewing a bunch of top games and hidden gems lists. Plus, I've shared a few of these packs before and implemented some of the feedback I've gotten.

Jun 3, 2021 · MegaDrive is where Genesis games live. Mine had a bunch of SMS ROMs in the Genesis folder. But honestly I dumped almost all of what shipped with the thing anyway - nothing worked with retroachievements so what's the point?

Aug 7, 2022 · These hacks can be used with Terraonion's MegaSD flash cart, with Krikzz's Mega Everdrive Pro flash cart and with the Genesis Plus GX emulator in Retroarch. The link above contains pre-patched ROMs and pre-compiled audio packs with no cherrypicking, unlike other MD+ sets floating around that are missing a lot of games and audio options.
