May 26, 2020 · Finally got around to watching Season 0 last month - needless to say, quickly fell in love with its more devious picturing of Yami (also real talk his main theme is actually fire). Recommend it to anyone looking for a relatively fresh take on the original crew interacting outside the world of trading cards. Hope you guys enjoy!

Jul 2, 2014 · Season Zero Duel Monsters. HOW DARE YOU RUIN THE BEST SEASON OF YUGIOH WITH THAT. I would imagine that Yami-Yugi could manage that. Yami seems to add physical strength to Yugi. The main point being that Yugi is extremely weak but, Yami-Yugi was able to climb up the side of a building using only a rope for a long period of time.

Omg, you're so right! I wanted to comment that it's not called "Season 0" but no one apparently cares anyways. It seriously triggers something in me everytime I see "Season 0". You know how Duke is always like "YuGiOh is nothing like Dungeon Dice Monsters!" in YuGiOh Abridged? That's exactly what I think of every time people say Season 0.

Dec 17, 2020 · I liked more the Season 0 than DM myself. Surely it adapts the early manga chapters and DM is not a continuation (although it starts where Season 0 stops) but I think it is a good adaptation, specially of what the manga intended to be at the start. But if you want a more properly connected story, you should read the manga instead.

Lelouch could geass Yugi, but he might not be able to geass Yami. Also, strictly speaking, he could only make eye contact with Yugi, since Yami just borrows Yugi's eyes when he's in control.
