#2. Raised Heads (Oval Head). Screws with raised heads or oval shaped heads have unique angles that are similar to flat screw types, but possess a dome shaped head. The angle also requires countersinking aimed toward the angle. In loosed flat screws, the head of raised screw tends to protrude slightly above the surfaces.
