Jul 26, 2017 · The ScanGauge is much easier to set up and change although you can get more info out of a UltraGauge but 90% of the buyers dont understand the additional info anyway. The SCanGauge sets on top of the steering column making it very easy to read.

May 19, 2024 · Tried the Scangauge II and after 55 minutes and 11 programming attempts on first attribute with factory tech sent it back to Amazon. I put the Scangauge III on my new V6 Auto to monitor towing temps and what actual gear I'm in. I emphaticaly hate the gear settings on this automatic transmission. Drive 100% in manual mode with ECT set to on.

Jun 20, 2020 · Finally got a Scangauge II to monitor transmission temperatures while towing. Where are you mounting yours? When I did a search (YES I DID SEARCH), I found one that was mounted on the dashboard above the radio - not digging that. Gen I/II has an A pillar mount - looks kind of ricey but at least it's something. What do you all do?

Aug 11, 2021 · Just bought a mirror mount for a Scangauge 2 from Blendmount. I went to Amazon to purchase the Scangauge right after only to find they don't ship with the newest firmware, 4.53. I went to Scangauge's website to purchase directly from them only to find out they just released a Scangauge 3. I am considering changing routes.

Aug 20, 2015 · similar to the Scangauge, I have an Ultra Gauge on top of the steering column using an Outsane 3d printed mount. Unlike a phone, I don't have to worry about turning it on, batteries charged, or having the gauges up and monitoring. It's always monitoring coolant temp, MPG, speedo correction, etc.
