Sauti Yetu means “our voice” in Swahili. We speak with you–African, Muslim and immigrant women, children and families making a life in New York City. We are here to support your needs and rights, to help you be as strong, healthy and productive as possible.

Sauti Yetu exists to mobilize low and no-income African immigrant women to improve the quality of their lives, strengthen their families and develop their communities in the United States, starting in New York City.

Ms. Massange Kamara serves as Sauti Yetu’s social worker. She works with individuals who have experienced domestic violence, intimate partner violence, sexual assault and culturally sanctioned forms of violence and provides individual counseling to her clients.
