Sarah Dixit (she/hers) joined Pro-Choice Washington in June 2023, eager to continue her commitment to organizing and advocacy for reproductive freedom and systemic change in Washington state and beyond.

Sarah is an organizer and advocate in the Pacific Northwest, focusing on reproductive freedom, racial justice, and equity over the past 7 years. Currently, Sarah is the Organizing Director at Pro-Choice Washington, an independent reproductive freedom advocacy organization that does statewide and regional work.

Jan 13, 2021 · I got down on one knee, began crying, and asked "Sarah Joy Dixit, will you marry me?" She said yes! We sat under the tree and enjoyed some celebratory champagne.

Sarah Dixit has been recognized with the 2022 YWCA Young Woman of Achievement Award. She was originally on the pre-medicine track but found the classes didn't inspire her passion. She decided she wanted to have an impact on social change by doing nonprofit advocacy work.
