Upon entering Waterfall, the protagonist passes Sans 's sentry station, where Sans offers to take them to Grillby's, if they did not kill Papyrus. Proceeding through Waterfall, Monster Kid talks to the protagonist and expresses enthusiasm to see Undyne in action. [1] .

Ignore Sans and walk across the bridge where Undyne will collapse. You must get her a cup of water from the cooler immediately if you want to complete a pacifist run or befriend her or Papyrus.

Aug 8, 2023 · The first area in Waterfall plays the sans. song, and as it turns out, Sans is sitting there at his stand. You're going to see him a lot during the game. If you don't talk to him, that's fine, but if you wanna take a break with him, talk with him and say yes.

A short way into Waterfall you’ll find a save point, along with a few NPCs. If you didn't kill Papyrus you'll find Sans sitting here, and he'll ask if you want to hang out. Agree to trigger an important cut scene back at Grillby's.

After entering Waterfall, Sans is found manning a sentry station and asks the protagonist if they want to take a break with him. If the protagonist agrees, he takes them to Grillby's via "shortcut." The patrons warmly greet Sans, and he proceeds to treat the protagonist to a burger or fries.
