Dec 18, 2019 · The S20 is a slimmed down sporterized version of the TRG. It's called Precision, the stock, but isn't anything more than the Hunter model. Sako doesn't produce any rifles explicitly with the intention of precision other than the TRG.

Mar 18, 2023 · The Sako S20 seems like a perfect platform for a long action build. The extended magazine (3.60 oal) would allow for maximized reloads. Specifically, a 280 AI comes to mind but I wonder how the double stack mag would feed.

Feb 20, 2020 · It doesn't seem like Sako is willing to import any of the S20's with the 2 stage trigger or heavy barrels, so I'm surprised they got these. Bix N Andy make a single stage for the S20, but it's closer to $500. Never seen an aftermarket 2 stage.

Oct 23, 2022 · I bought a Sako S20 in 300 Win Mag and a Zeiss Conquest V4 6-24x50 ZMOAi-T20 scope in early 2022 at Sportsman's Warehouse and had them install it with Warne Maxima 30mm med rings. I bought this rifle primarily for elk hunting, so I got the hunter stock. I belong to a club that has LR shooting, so I was interested in doing some of that as well.

Dec 17, 2020 · Sako and Tikka have been using the same trigger since 1990 (except the set and two stage triggers). I just put a Tikka TAC A1 two stage in my M995 (TRG action hunting rifle). The KRG Midas is a direct replacement for any modern (post -90) Tikka/Sako if you want to.
