Dec 11, 2023 · I absolutely love all the other arcs, but that run of Sabaody, Amazon Lily, Impel Down, Marineford and Return to Sabaody is absolutely goated for me. I love Sabaody so much because of all the new awesome characters introduced, the cool fight scenes, the backstory which is revealed, the setting with all the bubbles and big trees.

When they reach the Red Line, the halfway point on the Grand Line, the crew celebrate and comment on what a year it had been. This is just before the Sabaody Archipelago Arc. So with the two year break, it is a little over 3 years in total. This information is from the manga, not sure if they mentioned it in then anime.

May 1, 2021 · No, I agree. Sabaody Archipelago is such an awesome arc, yet underrated. I like Sabaody because you pretty much meet the equivalent of "Pokemon rivals" in One Piece, but this time it's Luffy's competing rivals of his generation: The introduction of the Supernovas, aka members being from Luffy's generation was such an awesome surprise.

Sep 24, 2021 · Probably Sabaody, Wano, and stuck between Water 7/Alabasta. Honorable mentions to the Reverie so far and post-Marineford. The Dadan vs Garp scene can get me emotional anytime I'm in the right space. Edit: Enel was so cocky but given the point in the story, rightfully so. Aside from a rubber man, what fan would've thought anyone would have a chance?

May 7, 2022 · This arc contained a lot of lore. Especially with regards to the splitting of Gold Rogers crew. Other lore-dropping moments include the portion about Celestial Dragons, Fishman Island, the history of discrimination in Sabaody, and so on. We were introduced to a conflict that the Straw Hats were unable to resolve through brute force.

Apr 5, 2020 · Quite the opposite actually. In my opinion Sabaody is when One Piece REALLY takes off and everything starts coming together after that. Sabaody is a strong arc and one of my favorites but there’s so many great arcs chronologically after it. You’re in for a ride, keep us updated with your reactions!
