However, despite HD's claims, anyone with half a chemist's brain can clearly see that it's approximately 60-65% natural petroleum, and not pure synthetic oil.

HD Syn3 oil is a 60% synthetic 40% petroleum blend, that means Syn 3 is a synthetic blend not a pure synthetic oil. May 13, 2017 · My bikes used to run wonky in the extreme heat but the King runs the same all the time on Syn3. Try different quality oils if you want to maybe your bike will like one over the other.

Apr 16, 2008 · I need to change the oil in my '07 Ultra, but due to work scheduling, I can never make it to the HD dealer to buy Syn3 and a filter. What other synthetic could, or should, I use from a local auto parts chain? And do you think they will have the oil filter? Thank you in advance.

Apr 6, 2004 · SYN3 is a blend made by the lowest bidder so the MoCo could cash in on the synthetic oil craze. Regardless of what type of oil you choose, change it frequently (filter too).
