Feb 7, 2018 · I just bought an sx3. Honestly, the sx4 felt better in my hands, but since it's a new model I was a bit skeptical. The sx4 shouldered easier for me while the sx3 gets caught on my jacket a lot more (even with no spacers between the recoil pad and stock).

Jan 28, 2022 · Internals are all pretty close, sx2 and sx3 almost if not identical. Minor changes on sx4 with the most noticeable ones to me were the magazine tube construction/shape and how the recoil spring in the stock is retained, same gas valve systems, larger trigger opening.

Dec 1, 2017 · Opinion? The only reason there is a SX4 is to compete with the V3. They cut production costs and quality making the gun entirely in Portugal. You may see a the retail prices dropping on the SX4 later in 2018.

Apr 3, 2004 · My buddy got a sx4 and I preffer my sx3. Is $900 to high of an asking price for a SX3? They sold new for $750ish when the SX-4 came out, seeing how they are no longer manufacture, if it's new in the box, fair price. Condition and your desire to own it will determine what you are willing to pay.

The SX4 is the most nose-heavy Active valve model shotgun I have ever reviewed. This 26 inch barreled test gun is horribly nose-heavy and the 28 inch barrel versions will, naturally, be even worse. Other changes are also puzzling.
