This paper provides examples of TEM images from a vari ety of sample preparations of the SWCNT SRM 2483 raw soot. A selection of dispersing solvents, including organic solvents, aqueous surfactants, and DNA dispersions, were examined. Recommendations for sample preparation of the SWCNT SRM 2483 to yield similar images are given.

Microscopy (TEM) techniques. (7) Recently, Near Infrared (NIR) Spectros-copy has been advanced as an efficient tool to measure the carbonaceous purity of bulk SWNT samples and is discussed in Chapter 3. The NIR technique takes advantage of the unique spectroscopic features resulting from the interband
methods for selectively removing non-SWCNT carbon, as well separation by length (9- 11), chirality (12-15), electronic type (15-17) and optical handedness (18-20) are all areas of significant and ongoing efforts.
channel and single wall carbon nanotube (SWCNT) gate and a representative TEM cross-sectional image showing a SWCNT gate, ZrO 2 gate dielectric, and bilayer MoS 2 channel. Both the channel material and CNT would be challenging to measure. e, Schematic diagram of crossbar structures for high density memristor circuits.
Single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) networks demonstrate sheet resistance and optical transparency comparable to ITO on plastic substrates and, in addition, display better mechanical stability [1-7].
Several parameters of the separation were additionally explored: SWCNT concentration, added salt concentration, liquid density, rotor speed, surfactant concentration, and the processing temperature. The centrifugation
competitive adsorption mechanism model of SWCNT sorting. Altogether, these results provide valuable insights into the underlying mechanisms behind ATPE-based SWCNT separations, towards further development and optimization of the ATPE method for SWCNT chirality and handedness sorting.
Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) – Type of electron microscope that produces images by the interaction of the electrons transmitted through the ultra-thin sample. SEM sample stub or SEM pin stub – Mounting hardware used to hold samples to be investigate in a SEM.
basic SWCNT structure. Of these classes, by far the most effort has focused on separation by SWCNT species, and particularly on the broader sub-class of separating metallic from semiconducting species.
