Heading south from Seattle and ending in Portland, Oregon, STP is a thrilling back-to-back double-century ride through urban and rural settings. Challenge yourself to bike 206 miles through western Washington in one or two days.

This 200+ mile bicycle ride is the largest multi-day bicycle event in the Northwest, with up to 10,000 participants riding from Seattle to Portland in one or two days. The route takes you through the scenic valleys, forests, and farmlands of western Washington and Oregon.

Riders are encouraged to use any and all stops along the STP route that fit their personal needs. Our fully supported 200+ mile ride is kept at a comparatively low cost with five free food stops on route.

Based on previous STP rides, congestion and delays are expected: Early morning Saturday, July 15, on SR 7 in Pierce County. Midmorning to afternoon, Saturday, July 15, on SR 507 in Thurston and Lewis counties.

Portland Bicycling Club coordinates the Finish Line at the Portland end of the STP route. It is set up at Holladay Park near Lloyd Center. We organize up to 130 volunteers to support the Finish Line and celebration in the park.
