Jun 25, 2006 · This is another reason I started this thread. The "hunt" for custom wheels is a disappointing, frustrating, and tedious one for the SSR. Many, many cool wheels out there, but unfortunately, very few to fit the SSR. The few chrome wheels that I listed in earlier posts I know will fit, because we Fanatics are running them.

May 22, 2020 · The biggest obstacle to finding custom wheels is the bolt pattern. The SSR/Trailblazer has 6x5" bolt circle which is smaller than the very popular full size Chevy truck bolt circle of 6x5.5". There very few mfg's that still offer wheels that would fit in that pattern or you have to go with a full custom made wheel which run over $1000 ea.

Mar 19, 2023 · I have satin finish interior trim so wanted the same on the wheels. Budnik has a brushed finish I’ll do on the rims/hoops and a ceramic coating for the centers. My biggest complaint about my stock wheels is the faux satin finish, wanted a real aluminum finish. The chrome stock wheels are fine but I don’t use chrome anywhere else on the truck.

Feb 7, 2025 · SSR wheel rim is aluminum and in early days tire shops used impact to tighten lug nuts, and TO TIGHT! Cracked the SSR OEM rim. OEM rim lug nut should NOT be tightened more than 110 lbs., I hand torque mine to 100 lbs. And Center Caps! Be sure they are on in the right position. Instructions on cap.
