Mar 6, 2006 · Silver VC...so that means the GT4-SI came w/a silver VC and it is a W11. So here are the facts as I see them so far: - The W11 Avenir motors are mainly silver tops. - The GT4-SI was a silver top and a W11. - You can't go off VC color to determine W11. The majority of W11 VC color is silver. I have no proof that there even exists a W11 blacktop.

Sep 15, 2014 · I ended up finding a sweet W11 Avenir engine with T25 Ball Bearing turbo, going to build my 95 LSD transmission since they are impossible to find here locally in Toronto.

Aug 6, 2007 · W11 is a newer engine. If you want to rework everything (intake is opposite, as is distributor, turbo sits in a different spot) then get the S13. The W11's come with a ballbearing T25 with a stock boost level of 9psi instead of the usual 7psi. I don't think S13's do.

Jan 8, 2006 · I am about to purchase a silver top motor but would like to know if it's a w10 or a w11. on all the threads noone can seem to agree on this. I have seen part numbers and people all say they are wrong or they have one and someone else says it's not.

The SR20DET is a 2.0 L (1,998 cc) straight-four four-stroke gasoline engine that is part of the SR family of engines from Nissan, produced from 1989 to 2002. It is a turbocharged version of the SR20DE engine and is a replacement of the CA18DET engine.
