Dec 3, 2020 · The Noveske SPR barrel employs an intermediate length gas system which eliminates the short-stroke issues that are sometimes encountered in cold weather with some 18” barrels that utilize a rifle length gas system. The barrel extension has “M4” feed-ramps. The barrel has a 1:7” twist rate and polygonal rifling (not a polygonal bore.)

Oct 14, 2022 · On my SPR right now I have an Athon Helos BTR Gen 2 2-12x42 mostly because I wanted a "smaller" scope, I normally avoid CCP funded equipment but I bought this to review against another scope and loved it so much for the price decided to keep it as it has surprisingly good glass for the price, time will tell how well it will hold up over time.

Feb 21, 2017 · I'm looking for a scope recommendation for an 18" AR15 SPR I built. It will mostly be used for shooting steel at 100-300 yards and occasionally at 600 yards. I have a 16" Recce with an Aimpoint for run and gun, so I thought maybe a 2-10 type scope would be best, but I'd listen to arguments for 1-6/8 or 3-15 if anyone has them.

Oct 3, 2018 · Now, on that same SPR rifle (223 wylde AR), I run a 1-6 LPVO Gen2 Razor. I like it for matches and closer in/fast shooting, but am eventually going to snag a 3-15 T5XI for it. Yes, it’ll hit 600+ yds now with the 1-6, but it would be a bit easier for me to really tighten those groups up if I had some extra magnification.
