State of Decay 2: Heartland features a return to Trumbull Valley in a new story-based adventure. Once the iconic site of the original State of Decay game, the towns of Spencer’s Mill and Marshall are now overrun with an advanced form of blood plague: a more aggressive and far deadlier version than exists anywhere else.

Jun 4, 2022 · in heartland you can host your friends regular campaign group to get some help. Id start with the campain tutorial, then play heartland. then either bring your main group to trumbull or start a new community there. One thing heartland introduced was the "Blood Plague Freaks".

Dec 5, 2023 · From what I've read the campaign in SoD2 does away with all of that and is mostly a sandbox with no story. Wondering if that's really true and - if so - if Heartland gives and experience more like the first game?

Jun 10, 2019 · If you’re at the dam in SoD2 in Trumbull Valley you can see that Danforth is still intact, meaning that the ending where you disable the nuke with Vienna is canon. So Danforth remaining intact is the canon ending.

Jun 14, 2019 · Once you get to the new base, there's immediately a "Make an extra batch of plague cure" quest that is super simple. If you want to get a head start on getting your community stable, just ignore doing this quest until you're comfortable with how you're setup in the base.

Sep 19, 2022 · You will have to play Heartland one and a half times, since some survivors can only be recruited in a specific story: Keesha for Quincy's story and Brock for Larisse's story and Quincy/Larisse has also an specific achievement tied to what they can each build at base.
