Woke up with a headache today, decided to boot up SoD2 for a moment before my day started to see how it functioned -- between the motion blur and FOV, gotta say it was a huge mistake lol.

Feb 20, 2023 · I want to give a quick rundown of what I think are the best and worst skill specializations of the first four core skills in SoD2. Community Skills are excluded for the purpose of this post, because they're so varied and circumstantial that they warrant their own post.

SoD2 is the best game I've played on XB in the last decade, hands down. It doesn't have a front and center story, but it has a ton of lore that lets you piece together what's going on in the zombie apocalypse around you.

Oct 17, 2023 · SoD2 is interesting to me, because it blurs some genre lines in interesting ways. I would call it a survival-simulation-arcade game. It is a survival game in that you have to go out into the world and find lootable items and resources for your community.

Nov 20, 2023 · Mid-game is fun enough while you are trying to amount resources, recruit good people, manage your enclaves, and do missions to get enough influence to move bases and defeat the plague hearts.

Googling tells me to look at a \users\local\stateofdecay2 dir. But this doesn't exist. Are the xbox game pass save files encrypted somewhere?

Sep 13, 2022 · However, althought SoD2 is fun to play, it lacks memorability and staying power because of the whole "You make your story" thing. Zombie games thrive on character development and interaction and the game provides none of that.
