There is an option when installing the tune (modify engine options?) to change the idle rpm: drv and ney: not sure what's the difference...

Dec 23, 2024 · So I have a 2016 f250 that has been deleted and has some tune on it. The truck came that way when bought and it didn’t have a programmer or anything of the like. I have an sct x4 tuner with the preloaded tunes. I plan on getting some custom tunes for my truck but in the meantime I was wondering if the preloaded tunes would work at all.

Feb 25, 2014 · When you write the tunes from a PC to the SCT device, you can opt to allow the end-user to have tweakable settings, or none at all. If your tune was written to your SCT device without any options available, there is no way for you to do it without getting another tune (or re-writing the same tune to the handheld with options turned on).

There are many threads like this one yes but that doesn't change the fact that it's not possible for the sct tuner to change the speedometer to adjust for tire sizes because it doesn't communicate with the module that - that specific information is stored.

Sep 16, 2015 · I purchased my SCT X4 tuner from Innovative diesel for my 6.0L along with the "Street" tune that they offer. It did great with my rig, the MPG went up about 1-2 and the get up and go was so much better than the factory setting. Since I traded in my 6.0L, I was thinking about using my SCT X4 again and buying some tunes for my 6.7L.

Apr 22, 2011 · No, unfortunately the X3 will only allow you to load custom tune files, such as the mail order tunes or a dyno tune. You could make your own tunes but you would have to purchase separate software such as SCT Pro Racer. The SF3 on the other hand will let you modify the tune yourself using the device, but it does not support loading custom tunes.
