The only real distinguishing feature of the M-100A as far as I am aware is the cartridge chute at the base of the nose, and frankly it’s impossible to tell on these pictures.

Jun 8, 2023 · Think Mosquito - no guns at all on the bomber and only fixed guns on the fighter-bomber. If you did get a head-on attack, it was up to the pilot to point the guns - at least the SB gave some flexibility. By the way, it is the SB, in this case the SB-2M100 with 2 M100 engines as opposed to the SB-2M105 with later engines.

Nov 7, 2013 · Now, I seem to remember, MANY years ago a conversion article (in Airfix mag?) using the engine cowls from an Airfixz Pe-2 grafted on to an SB-2M-100 kit to produce a -2M103. Am I imagining this, or is this actually possible? I,ve compared the two on Google Images and the engines of the two a/c do seem very similar.

May 31, 2020 · Its got some very good flight characteristics (can play in full simulator mode) and has a vast inventory of vehicles. In this case, ive been able to find the SB-2M 100 which you can see below (someone elses screenshot not mine). While not all the models are 100% accurate reproductions, they are generally quite good and useful for reference.

Oct 10, 2019 · I'm going to call it a day with this one. A fun build of a sincere and well meant kit! Definitely recommended for all aficionados of early Soviet bombers, assuming Tamiya isn't about to tool an SB. The kit has lovely detail, but slightly iffy fit in parts, particularly the transparencies, which aren't the most transparent either.
