This is regarding IDOC to File XI scenerio. I am able to trigger IDOC MATMAS from SAP R/3 using trxn BD10. The idoc status in WE05 is 3 which is succussfull. Now I cant see anything in SXI_MONITO in XI system. Please help..

Hi I am trying to use R/3 dataflows to get data from SAP server (on Windows). The DS Job Server is on unix. We are having problems with creating a file share - CIFS is very very slow; the SAP Server and the DS Job Server are on different continents, but copying the data using windows to windows fileshare is quite quick.

What I am thinking is when you create a R/3 system or transaction iviews on the portal, it automatically points the to standard webgui service, no matter what are you using in the "ITS Path" field.

We would like to access SAP using strictly the I.E. 6.0 browser, and have no client-side software installs necessary to avoid the client-side maintenance problems (or use any older technology like an ITS server in R/3).
