The Tupolev Tu-154 (Russian: Tyполев Ту-154; NATO reporting name: "Careless") is a three-engined, medium-range, narrow-body airliner designed in the mid-1960s and manufactured by Tupolev.

Siberia Airlines Flight 1812[2] was a commercial flight shot down by the Ukrainian Air Force over the Black Sea on 4 October 2001, en route from Tel Aviv, Israel, to Novosibirsk, Russia. The aircraft, a Soviet -made Tupolev Tu-154, carried 66 passengers and 12 crew members. Most of the passengers were Israelis visiting relatives in Russia.

Ту-154 (по кодификации НАТО: Careless — «беспечный») — советский и российский трёхдвигательный реактивный пассажирский авиалайнер и транспортный самолёт 1-го класса для авиалиний средней протяжённости, рассчитанный на перевозку 152—180 пассажиров. Разработан в 1960-х годах в СССР в ОКБ Туполева. Первый полёт Ту-154 был выполнен 3 октября 1968 года.

Dec 15, 2020 · S7 Airlines, one of the largest domestic aviation companies, now operates 103 aircraft – none of them is of Russian origin. As a result, the already existing fleet of Il-62, Tu-134 and Tu-154 aircraft was still in service until the expiry of their certificate of airworthiness.

Delivered to Aeroflot as CCCP-85622 in 1987. Reregistered as RA-85622 by 1993. To Vnukovo Airlines in 1994 and to Sibir/S7 Airlines in 2003. Scrapped at Novosibirsk in 2012.

Oct 30, 2021 · Designed in the mid-1960s, the Tupolev Tu-154 was built to replace Aeroflot's Tu-104s and the Antonov An-10 and Ilyushin Il-18 turboprops. Similar in many ways to the Boeing 727, the Tu-154 was a workhorse for several Russian and East Bloc airlines. Tupolev Tu-134.

Aug 28, 2006 · Witnesses to the last few seconds of a Pulkovo Aviation Tupolev Tu-154M flight say the aircraft was spinning before it crashed, killing all 171 on board.
