Jul 16, 2020 · I had a year interval between words of radiance and oathringer so I forgot all the stuff about Rysn. From what I've seen in this sub she seems to be relatively important, but I can only remember the bit in oath ringer where she witnesses the big red gemstone being stolen.

Aug 20, 2022 · Rysn does not have access to other Investiture besides the Dawnshard itself (and the Sleepless, as a condition, required that she never bond a spren - thus never being able to draw on Stormlight.) And we don't know whether there's something in particular necessary for a divine-level Intent to work with the Dawnshard.

May 3, 2021 · Until Dawnshard came out, Rysn was just a cool intermission character I liked. Trying to claim there was an Easter egg that makes her somehow linked to Hoid, and that as others posted here, that link potentially explains Thaylen naming, well that would have been silly and a super stretch.
