This set up has many parts, is rough looking, and places the scope higer than other mount systems. I have used it but don't like it very much.

Pacific Tool and Gauge is one of the more well known ones and sells conversions for both short and long actions. Most of these conversions use AICS pattern magazines which are a bit expensive but very reliable.
