Dec 28, 2013 · Another possibility is to buy a Burris, Ruger to Weaver adaptor that will allow you to use either Burris Zee or Burris Zee Signature rings attached to the adaptor that is attached to the Ruger M77 receiver. This set up has many parts, is rough looking, and places the scope higer than other mount systems. I have used it but don't like it very much.

Pacific Tool and Gauge is one of the more well known ones and sells conversions for both short and long actions. Mag. But ammo availability is a key factor with the .284Win. With myself I would simply buy unprimed new brass & reload.
