Sadly, Miter Saw and Rover Cat are the only reliable non-uber tankers because everything else dies quickly, and Can-Can usually gets knocked back anyway. I hope you get Rover Cat soon!

Sep 15, 2022 · TBH I only ever recommend Rover anymore as a starting point for building clients and reviews. You're not supposed to, but 20% is an unreasonable cut considering they don't do squat. If you aren't getting any clients, you can always start a little lower, but you tend to lose clients when rates go up and they're used to paying something else.

Rover provided the emergency contact number, which was a bust. Rover will attempt to find a replacement sitter and if one cannot be found, they told me the dog would go into boarding. My bf has horrible health insurance. So I know he’ll end up getting a $200+ bill. What are the chances Rover will reimburse for medical expenses?

I am still working every day, which helps with my income, but it just rarely feels like work. I now charge $75 for 1-2 pets per night for 10 hrs of overnight care, $20 per 30 min dog walk/cat visit, and now charge $35/hr for dog walks/cat visit.
