Dec 10, 2022 · rovan doesn't have the extra hole or the stub on the box, plastics are a lower quality, and also most rovan have a different design of a arm, but someone could easily swap out a arms, the shocks have a different design on the knurling on the adjuster rings, and if memory serves me right the shock tops are different as well,

Apr 2, 2024 · Not sure on that but I did buy a Rovan Baja Q Shorty. Considering it is entry level 1/5 scale but my expectations were not off the chart. Sure it is not a name brand so to speak for the price it isn't too bad. Not sure I care for the tires and no remote kill so I have one to install.

Nov 28, 2020 · The Rovan 34cc and 36cc engines use a different crankcase than the 42 / 45 / 46 engines. Also all the < and including the 32cc engines are a different style crankcase than the 34 / 36 engines. I found this out when I was trying to find correct bottom end gasket / seal kits. The Rovan 34 / 36 cc engines use an oddball case.

Dec 3, 2023 · Friction is why. The first year of the rovan 45 were actually decent. They were single ring. The dual ring 45 sucks and gets hot. You can actually make these cheap engines run well. You just have to dissemble them to check for shavings -bearing or gasket errors.

Nov 24, 2018 · Dude the rovan 45 has a max rpm of like 16k and the super 40 has a top rpm of 19k so that's that. Also the rovan ported makes 8hp AT MOST and the super 40 has close to 12, it just don't make sense. So the rcmax/alx is better in every way possible.
